Electricity

 In Science we have been learning about electricity. We made a simple circuit, doubled the power and added a switch. We also tested whether materials were conductors or insulators of electricity.

A Simple Circuit

The power from the battery lit the bulb.



Double the Power
The bulb powered by two batteries shone brighter.



Adding a Switch
When the switch was closed, the circuit was complete and the bulb lit.


When the switch was open, the circuit was broken and the bulb did not light.

Electricity flowed through the following items:

Insulators of Electricity
Electricity did not flow through the following items:
Wooden fork

Plastic paper clip

Plastic ruler
